Aer Lingus has unveiled a range of new inflight benefits to elevate the transatlantic travel experience for all customers. Business Class guests can now enjoy a refreshed menu and elevated amenity kits, while Economy customers will enjoy complimentary meals and more.
On Friday (February 6, 2025) Aer Lingus announced the rollout of enhanced inflight benefits for transatlantic passengers across all cabins. Business Class guests can now enjoy a refreshed menu with the introduction of a new seasonal spring menu. On Westbound flights, the new Business menu includes smoked salmon with crisp samphire in a citrusy dressing, or skin-on thyme and parsley chicken supreme. For dessert, Business Class customers can enjoy a light and fluffy lemon mousse dome, ore a local Irish cheeseboard.
In Friday’s announcement, Aer Lingus’ Chief Customer Officer, Susanne Carberry, said,
“At Aer Lingus, we are dedicated to providing the most comfortable experience for our customers as they fly across the Atlantic. Our exceptional inflight offering includes complimentary food and drink, and customers are welcome to enjoy an extensive selection of inflight entertainment options. Those flying in our Business Class cabin will experience added comfort and space while onboard with us.
As a Skytrax 4-star airline, Aer Lingus is continuously investing in enhancements to our inflight offering. By listening to valued feedback from our customers, we’ve introduced new additions that we know will elevate their journeys.”
Aer Lingus’ new Business amenity tickets include products from natural skincare brand Jo Browne Ireland, made from eco-friendly materials, while the pen and toothbrush incorporate wheat-straw, and the earplug and dental pouches are make from plant-based biodegradable materials. Jo Browne’s Signature Blend Lip Balm and Hydrating Moisturiser are also packaged in 100 percent sugarcane tubes. Additionally, the kit includes a premium 3D-molded eye mask and luxurious socks, for a restful and comfortable journey.
Aer Lingus’ transatlantic Economy Class guests will also enjoy an elevated experience, with complimentary meals and snacks, including a choice of Vinca organic red or white wine, beer, soft drink or juice with their meal. The carrier’s IFE system has over 1,300 pieces of content for customers to choose from, with endless hours of games, new release movies, and TV box sets. Disney+ favorites such as Loki (Season 1), The Mandalorian (Season 1), and Ms. Marvel are also available for viewing on the customers’ individual seatback screens.
Founded in 1936, Aer Lingus is the national flag carrier of Ireland. The carrier operates over 100 routes from Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Knock to Europe, the UK and North America. For 2025, Aer Lingus will launch new service to Indianapolis (Indiana) and Nashville (Tennessee) in the U.S. with a new Airbus A321XLR, expanding the number of transatlantic destinations on offer from Dublin, Shannon and Manchester to 24.
