Starting December 19, 2024, Aeromexico will launch new daily nonstop service between Cancun and Miami. With the added route, Aeromexico will offer 10 daily flights connecting Mexico to Miami, Orlando and Tampa Bay.
On Monday (August 26, 2024), Aeromexico announced the launch of new daily nonstop service between Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Miami International Airport (MIA) starting December 19, 2024, which will be operated in partnership with Delta Air Lines. The new Cancun-Miami route will complement the carrier’s existing service between Mexico City and Miami, which operates five times daily. Including the new route, Aeromexico will offer 10 daily flights from Mexico to Miami, Orlando, and Tampa Bay, with approximately 140 weekly arrivals and departures to/from Florida.
Flights between Miami and Cancun will be operated with a 166-seat Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft featuring 16 Premier Cabin, 18 AM Plus, and 132 Main Cabin seats. Guests traveling onboard Aeromexico’s 737-MAX aircraft will also enjoy inflight entertainment and high speed Wi-Fi connectivity. The new U.S. route has been made possible by Aeromexico’s Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) with Delta Air Lines, which jointly serves 65 routes between Mexico and the U.S. with over 180 daily arrivals and departures.
