Air Canada has today announced the appointment of Firas Al Osman as Chief Digital Officer. In his new role, Mr. Al Osman will be responsible for the development and implementation of the carrier’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy.
On Tuesday (September 10, 2024), Air Canada announced the appointment of Firas Al Osman as Chief Digital Officer. Air Canada is committed to enhancing their digital capabilities and providing a seamless and engaging experience for customers and team members across all touchpoints. In his new role, Mr. Al Osman will be responsible for the development and implementation of the carrier’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy, as Air Canada continues efforts to become a leader in digital innovation within the travel and loyalty industries. He will be tasked with enhancing the customer experience, and driving efficiency and innovation, while improving operational processes and performance.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Canada’s Vice President – Marketing & Digital, and President of Aeroplan, Mark Nasr, said,

Firas Al Osman joins Air Canada from a leading professional services organization, bringing a wealth of experience leading the development and execution of large-scale digital transformation programs across industries including airlines, financial services, insurance and healthcare.
