Air France has introduced a completely private and confidential experience for La Première guests at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, with new airport suites available as an added option.
On Tuesday (July 23, 2024), Air France announced the inauguration of an exceptional new airport experience for La Première guests on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). Premium customers can now book a new airport suite as an added option to provide enhanced privacy, complementing the La Première lounge. La Première customers will also enjoy a new dedicated check-in lobby, and from next winter, Air France will also unveil their new La Première cabin.
When arriving at the airport, every La Première guest will be warmly greeted by a dedicated concierge, who will promptly attend to their luggage. Next, guests will be guided to the newly established exclusive check-in lobby, where an attentive Air France team manages all departure-related procedures, including check-in and luggage assistance. The new check-in lobby is furnished with 15 seats and two private lounges, and also caters to La Première guest arriving at Paris-CDG. Customers will have the option to relax post-flight, make use of the shower facilities if desired, and collect their checked baggage.
The new exclusive La Première check-in area exudes an aura of haute couture, and offers a seamless combination of individual spaces while preserving an overall sense of expansiveness. Designed in collaboration with the SGK Brandimage agency, it is decorated in a palette of white and gray accented with touches of red, and showcases exquisite furnishings from renowned French designers such as Pierre Paulin and Christophe Pillet.
After check-in procedures are completed, guests are escorted to the La Première lounge via an exclusive private passage with a dedicated security checkpoint. Designed by Architect Didier Lefort, the impressive 1,000 square-meter Air France La Première lounge offers guests tranquil retreats, exuding a sense of serenity and the promise of an elevated experience. Naturally, the experience is centered around gastronomy, with a meticulously curated menu and wine list crafted by Alain Ducasse and his esteemed team. At the heart of the lounge is a luxurious spa and beauty treatment area operated by the pioneering French brand Sisley.
As previously mentioned, La Première passengers now have to option to reserve exclusive suites spanning nearly 45 square-meters, prior to a journey or during layovers. Conveniently located adjacent to the La Première lounge, three suites are available for booking, with the option of adjoining two upon request. When guests arrive at the suites, they are personally guided through the suite options and amenities by a dedicated butler. The suites feature a spacious living area, a bedroom with double bed, a well-appointed bathroom, and a comfortable outdoor patio. With fresh flowers, luxurious linens, and haute-couture finishes, these spaces create a regal atmosphere within Air France’s Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
Finally, for the winter 2024/25 season, Air France will unveil their completely redesigned La Première cabin, which will offer the longest configuration in the market, offering five windows to passengers. Additionally, the cabin will showcase up to three modular and entirely private living spaces featuring a seat, chaise lounge, and a flat bed. As of summer 2024, La Première suites are available on select Air France Boeing 777-300ERs, flying to Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda and Washington. In the future, the new, innovative La Première configuration will be extended across a greater number of aircraft compared to the current deployment.
