Air France-KLM Group has reported a fourth quarter net loss of (€21) million on 6.4 percent year-over-year increase in revenue to €7.9 billion. For FY 2024, the Group reported a net profit of €489 million on a revenue increase of 4.8 percent to €31.5 billion.

On Thursday (March 6, 2025), Air France-KLM Group reported their financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ending December 31, 2024. The Group reported a fourth quarter net loss of (€) 21 million on a year-over-year increase in revenue of 6.4 percent to €7.9 billion. Q4 revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK) increased 3.9 percent to 8.90 euro cents, while cost per available seat mile increased 4.0 compared to Q3 2024 to 8.32 euro cents.
For the full year 2024, the company reported a net profit of €489 million on a 4.8 percent increase in revenue compared to FY 2023 to €31.5 billion. The Group’s full year revenue per available seat mile (RASK) increased year-over-year by 0.6 percent to 8.82 euro cents, while cost per available seat kilometer (CASK) increased 3.2 percent to 8.24 euro cents. At December 31, 2024, the Group had a total of €9.4 billion in cash om hand.
In Thursday’s announcement, Air France-KLM Group’s CEO, Mr. Benjamin Smith, said,

We also broadened our global reach by introducing new routes and reinforcing strategic partnerships, including our recent acquisition of a minority stake in SAS, which already shows promising results. During the fourth quarter, Air France-KLM welcomed 23.5 million guests, up 5.1 percent compared to the previous year, and achieved and average load factor of 87.4 percent, up 2.1 points versus Q4 2023.
At the end of 2024, the Group’s fleet included 27 percent new generation aircraft, which will increase to 80 percent by 2030. In 2024, Air France-KLM phased in 41 new generation aircraft, while phasing out 18 legacy aircraft.
Flying Blue Miles generated €207 million in total revenue during the fourth quarter, including third party airline and non-airline partners. In 2024, Flying Blue reported a 13 percent increase in active members in 2024. In February 2025, Air France-KLM and American Express agreed to extend their global partnership until September 2033.
