On Tuesday (June 15, 2021), Air France released a sneak preview of their new Terminal 2F lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, which will open by mid-July. The lounge will welcome Air France’s Business Class and Flying Blue Elite Plus guests departing on, or connecting to medium-haul flights within the Schengen area or domestically. The new 3,000 square foot lounge has been designed by the duo Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku from the Parisian design agency Jouin Manku, in collaboration with the Air France and Paris Aéroport teams. The collaboration follows Air France’s tradition of calling on the best designers and architects of the time.

Following an extensive renovation, Air France guests will discover one of the airline’s largest lounges, a brand-new two-level light filled space, epitomizing French elegance and refinement.

Founded in 2006, the Jouin Manku agency fuses architecture, interior and product design in a fluid exchange. The duo designs and orchestrates every element of the spaces they create, crafting remarkable and immersive interiors, which turn ordinary days into extraordinary moments. Some of Jouin Manku’s notable projects include restaurants for world-renowned chefs such as Alain Ducasse and flagships stores and exhibitions for luxury jeweler, Van Cleef & Arpels. The duo is also currently working on the transformation of the Gare Montparnasse train station in Paris and the reimagination of the kitchen and dining areas at the emblematic palace La Mamounia in Marrakesh.
