Air France announced on Friday that they have received their tenth and final Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The aircraft, a B787-9, arrived at Paris-Charles de Gaulle early this morning and will join the carrier’s long-haul fleet.
Today (July 24, 2020) Air France announced the delivery of their tenth and final Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The aircraft (a B787-9) registration F-HRBJ, arrived at Paris-Charles de Gaulle early this morning and will join the company’s long-haul fleet. The carrier’s upcoming deliveries will include next-generation Airbus A350s for their long-haul network as well as Airbus A220s which will join Air France’s short and medium-haul network. Air France continues to modernize and renew their fleet with next-generation aircraft as part of the company’s commitment to deploying more efficient and environmentally-friendly aircraft.
The carrier’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, as well as their Airbus A350s, offer numerous operational and environmental benefits with around 20 percent lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, as well as a reduced noise footprint, compared to previous generation aircraft. Air France guests will enjoy the B787-9 Dreamliner’s bright and comfortable cabin which features 30 percent larger windows, more space, and improved air pressure and humidity levels. The carrier’s new Dreamliner is also equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing guests to remain connected throughout their journey.
