On Tuesday (March 18, 2025), Air France unveiled their new La Première experience, which is described as ‘the highest expression of travel.’  This follows the launch of an exceptional airport journey at Paris-Charles de Gaulle in 2024.  Rolling out on select Boeing 777-300ERs from spring 2025, the aircraft will feature four nearly 3.5 square meter La Première suites.  Each suite includes five windows, an Air France exclusive, along with a chaise lounge that converts to a two meter bed.  The new La Première promises a unique cabin experience, enhanced by personalized service and a three-star gourmet offering.

Each La Première seat adjusts for takeoff, landing, dining or relaxation mode, and features an embossed leather headrest adorned with Air France’s historic winged seahorse emblem, while a nearby console and table provide convenient space for working or dining.  Located opposite the seat, the chaise lounge offers the ideal place to stretch out while remaining seated, perfect for watching a movie or eating.  For maximum sleeping comfort, it extends into a fully lie-flat bed, measuring two meters long and 75 centimeters wide, while a cozy blanket and large cushions make the suite an intimate cocoon.

For complete privacy and a peaceful ambiance, each suite is enclosed by a thick floor-to-ceiling curtain.  Additionally, adjacent suites in the center of the cabin allow for shared travel while maintaining privacy, thanks to a button activated full-height, electric sliding partition.  Exclusively reserved for La Première guests, the suites are located at the front of the cabin, ensuring a completely private experience.  Designed in France by STELIA Aerospace, each design element has been crafted from the finest materials, such as full-grain leather and plush wool.  The suites unique design was conceived by Air France in collaboration with the Design Investment Studio and the SGK Brandimage agency.

To create an unmatched sense of space, overhead compartments have been replaced with floor-level storage, where a large sliding door can accompany two carry-on suitcases, and a second drawer under the chaise lounge provides space for footwear.  Additionally, a personal compartment with a backlit mirror is available near the seat for personal belongings, along with a personal wardrobe.  The five windows feature electric translucent of blackout shades, allowing guests to fill the space with natural light, or creating a more serene atmosphere.  The lighting system includes two lamps, available as both wall-mounted and floor-mounted fixtures, as well as subtle ambient lighting for each phase of flight.

Each La Première guest will enjoy two 32-inch 4K IFE screens, offering over 1,500 hours of entertainment from the seat, chaise lounge or bed.  Additionally, noise-canceling headphones are provided, and passengers can also connect their own headphones via Bluetooth.  The suite also features 110V/220V electrical outlets, USB-A and USB-C ports, wireless charging stations, personal device holders, and complimentary Wi-Fi.  Thanks to an intuitive wireless touchscreen tablet, guests can also adjust their seat, chaise lounge, or bed, along with the window shades and lighting, with a touch.  The first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to feature the new La Première cabin, named Épernay, will take flight this spring for New York-JFK, followed by Los Angeles, Singapore and Tokyo-Haneda for the summer 2025 season.
