For summer 2025, Air Serbia will resume service from Belgrade to Sardinia and Mykonos, after a hiatus of around a year and a half, and will also restart service to Florence, Italy.
On Monday (December 9, 2024), Air Serbia announced the restart of three routes for the summer 2025 season. The carrier will resume service from Belgrade to Alghero in Sardinia (AHO) and Mykonos (JMK) after a break of over a year and a half, and will also restart flights between Belgrade and Florence (FLR). Flights to Mykonos and Sardinia will operate twice weekly with Airbus A319 and Embraer E195 aircraft, while flights to Florence will be serviced with an ATR 72-600.
In Monday’s announcement, Air Serbia’s General manager – Commercial and Strategy, Boško Rupić, said,
“Air Serbia previously operated flights to Sardinia and Mykonos in cooperation with partner travel agencies. These were charter flights, and now conditions have been created for us to implement scheduled flights to these two popular destinations during the summer season. This way, passengers will have the opportunity to independently plan their stay on two of the most popular islands in Italy and Greece and to reach them more easily and quickly. Additionally, we are reintroducing direct flights to Florence, which will become our tenth destination in Italy. We are confident that all three destinations will attract the attention of passengers and that we will have a high cabin load factor on these flights during the summer season.”
Air Serbia will operate flights between Belgrade and Florence twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays starting April 18, 2025. Flights to Mykonos will start on June 6, 2025, and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Service between Belgrade and Alghero in Sardinia will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from June 10, 2025.
Air Serbia was launched under their current name in October 2013, as the national airline of the Republic of Serbia.
