airBaltic has launched a new partnership with the international car rental company SIXT. Customers can now add a car rental option when booking their travel, and airBaltic Club members will also earn loyalty points on their car rentals.

On Tuesday (December 27, 2022), airBaltic announced the launch of a new partnership with the international car rental company SIXT, with more than 2,200 locations across over 105 countries. Customers can now add a car rental when booking flights (payment on arrival), and airBaltic Club members will also earn loyalty points for their car rentals. AirBaltic's loyalty program has been designed not only for frequent flyers, but also those who travel less often, who can benefit from ancillary service rewards such as free heavy baggage, advanced seating assignments and more.
In today’s announcement, airBaltic’s Head of Loyalty and Partnerships, Māris Rudens, said,
“We are always looking for new ways to make the airBaltic Club loyalty program more and more attractive to its members. Thus, it brings a delight, that the internationally recognized mobility service provider SIXT has broadened the list of our partners. Additionally to the very simplified and unified car rental option while booking a flight, now, each car rental, depending on length, also could provide up to 1,200 airBaltic Club points per eligible rental worldwide. This is a double benefit.”
Also commenting on the new partnership, SIXT SE’s Senior Vice President – International Marketing, Regine Sixt, added,
“We are very much looking forward to our cooperation with airBaltic. Our companies are two highly successful and popular international mobility brands that offer attractive travel benefits to their customers. Passengers can now easily add a car rental option with SIXT when booking flights with airBaltic and enjoy convenient travel. They will benefit from our international branch network, our extensive premium fleet and our world-class customer experience.”
