Airbus has reported a full year 2024 net profit of €4.23 billion or €5.36 per share on a year-over-year increase in revenue of 6.0 percent to €69.2 billion. At December 31, 2024, the company’s consolidated orderbook was valued at €629 billion.

On Thursday (February 20, 2025), Airbus reported their full year financial results for the period ending December 31, 2024. The company reported a FY 2024 net profit of €4.23 billion or €5.36 per share on a 6.0 percent year-over-year increase in revenue to €629 billion. During 2024, Airbus received 878 gross commercial aircraft orders, with net orders totaling 826 after cancellations. The airframer ended the year with a commercial aircraft order backlog of 8,658 aircraft. Airbus delivered 766 commercial aircraft in 2024, including 75 A220s, 602 A320 Family, 32 A330s and 57 A350s. The company ended 2024 with a consolidated orderbook valued at €629 billion.
In Thursday’s announcement, Airbus’ Chief Executive Officer, Guillaume Faury, said,
“We achieved strong order intake across all businesses in 2024, with a book-to-bill well above 1, confirming the solid demand for our products and services. We delivered on our 2024 guidance in what was a testing year for Airbus. We refocused our efforts on key priorities, notably the production ramp-up and the transformation of Defence and Space. We continue to pursue profitable growth and our decarbonisation ambition. The 2024 financial results and the level of confidence we have in our future performance support our proposal for an increased dividend.”

Airbus’ A320 Family program continues to ramp up towards a rate of 75 per month in 2027, while A330 production has been stabilized at four per month. Supply chain problems, especially with Spirit AeroSystems, are currently putting pressure on the ramp up of A350 and A220 production. Airbus continues to target an A350 production rate of 12 per month in 2028, and is adjusting entry-into-service of the A350 Freighter variant to H2 2027. The company continues to target an A220 production rate of 14 per month in 2026.
