Alaska Airlines and Condor have signed a bilateral codeshare agreement that will allow each airline to market and sell the other’s flights. Condor will market over 70 Alaska routes across the U.S., while Alaska will sell Condor flights to Frankfurt from 12 U.S. gateways.
On Monday (November 6, 2023), Alaska Airlines announced the launch of a new codeshare with Condor which will allow each airline to market and sell the other’s flights. Under the agreement, Condor has started marketing and selling over 70 Alaska-operated flights across the U.S. Likewise, Alaska has started marketing and selling flights to Frankfurt from Condor’s 12 U.S. gateways, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Anchorage. Customers will enjoy the simplicity of purchasing connecting flights on both airlines using one reservation, along with seamless ticketing, check-in, boarding and checked baggage across their itinerary.
In Monday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines’ SVP – Fleet, Finance and Alliances, Nat Pieper, said,
“We continue to bolster our international partner portfolio, giving our guests convenient access to more of the globe. Condor provides a key link with its nonstops from Alaska’s gateway cities to Europe and beyond. We look forward to expanding our codeshare with Condor to destinations beyond Frankfurt in the near future.”
Condor flies their new Airbus A330neos between the U.S. and Germany. The aircraft is configured with Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins. Condor’s newly launched Business Class product features lie-flat seats with a wider bed and more legroom, along with a gourmet menu and beverage service. Premium Economy guests will enjoy seats with more legroom and a footrest, as well as a complimentary meal and beverage service. All Condor passengers enjoy generous storage space, a state-of-the-art IFE system with 4K monitors and Bluetooth connectivity. From May 2024, Condor is launching new service to Frankfurt from both Miami and San Antonio.
