On Monday (March 10, 2025), American Airlines announced the launch of new spring menus both onboard and across Admirals Club® lounges in the U.S. and Canada.  The lounges will feature new regional menus, along with an updated selection of spirits and other beverages.  Onboard, customers will enjoy new breakfast entrees, and will also be able to pre-order the much-anticipated sliders and fries option following a successful test out of Chicago O’Hara (ORD).  Starting March 19th, AAdvantage® members will be able to purchase food and beverages onboard using miles.  The new menu options have been rolling out in Admiral’s Club lounges since March 4th, while the updated onboard menus will be available from March 12, 2025.

In Monday’s announcement, American Airlines’ Chief Customer Officer, Heather Garboden, said,

“As spring travel heats up, our customers are eager to see new food and drinks across our menus.  Whereas warm comfort foods like soups rule the skies in the fall and winter, the spring season has people craving fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as tried-and-true summer dishes like our new sliders and fries.”

With the national rollout of the all-American sliders and fries onboard, customers can now pre-order the meal on short-haul domestic flights.  Five new breakfast options will also be available, including a white cheddar and Monterey Jack omelet, and a smothered veggie and cheese frittata.  Regionally-inspired breakfast and all-day spreads will be available in Admirals Club lounges, including build-your-own tacos in Miami, and Argentina beef empanada’s in Dallas, and edamame shrimp Teriyaki in Nashville.  Lounges will also feature a fresh range of premium spirits, as well as new mixers and non-alcoholic options.  American Airlines’ culinary team has curated a delicious range of dishes that will be available in all U.S. and Canadian Admirals Club lounges by March 17, 2025.
