In Tuesday’s announcement, ANA Holdings Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Kimihiro Nakahori, said,
“As we entered this fiscal year, we were pleased to see the increase in passenger demand in the international market, partially aided by the foreign currency rates. This has also contributed to maintaining high yields. As a result, we were able to achieve record-high sales revenue for the first quarter. The strategic expansion in Europe aligns with our annual plan, positions us to effectively meet increasing demand, introduces new passengers to our award winning customer service, and provides travelers the opportunity to create their experiences.”
Starting operations in February, AirJapan launched new service between Tokyo-Narita and Singapore in April, complementing existing services from Narita to Bangkok and Seoul-Incheon. In June 2024, AirJapan also introduced AirJapan flight vouchers, which can be exchanged from ANA miles for payment of tickets.
