Atlas Air Worldwide has today announced the appointment of Joel Goldberg as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer effective February 26, 2024. Mr. Goldberg will report to Atlas’ CEO, Michael Steen, and will also join the Executive Leadership Team.

On Thursday (January 25, 2024), Atlas Air Worldwide announced the appointment of Joel Goldberg as the company’s new Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer effective February 26, 2024. Mr. Goldberg will report to Atlas Air Worldwide’s CEO, Michael Steen, and will also join the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Joel Goldberg has nearly three decades of experience leading digital transformation initiatives across the aviation, logistics and consumer products industries. He joins Atlas from Wizz Air, where he has served as Chief Digital Officer for the last five years.
In Thursday’s announcement, Atlas Air Worldwide’s CEO, Michael Steen, said,

Also commenting on his new role, Atlas Air Worldwide’s new EVP and Chief Information Officer, Joel Goldberg, added,

Before joining Wizz Air, Mr. Goldberg served as Senior Director of Technology for Nike in the EMEA region. Prior to that, he held a series of roles of increasing responsibility at Maersk, including Director of E-Business and Global Director of Business Applications. Goldberg also served as Chief Information Officer at G4S, a leading global security company, and previously worked for DHL and FedEx. He holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BS in Engineering from the University of Florida.
