Austrian Airlines’ Vienna Airport Business Lounge Schengen, located in Terminal 3 at Level 2 or F-Gates, will reopen on September 29, 2020. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, all Austrian lounges have been temporarily closed since March 16, 2020.
Today (September 25, 2020), Austrian Airlines announced the reopening of the Austrian Business Lounge Schengen at Vienna Airport from September 29, 2020. The lounge is in Terminal 2 at Level 2 or F-Gates. Austrian has also replaced DO & CO as the lounge catering provider with DoN, Austria’s largest privately run catering company. DO & CO will continue to provide exceptional onboard catering on Austrian Airlines flights. In Friday’s announcement, Austrian Airlines’ Head of Product Management, Erik Mosch, said,
“With the reopening of our lounge at Vienna Airport together with our new lounge catering partner DoN, we are taking another step towards normality and can offer our passengers more service along the journey.”
All food and beverage service in the lounge will be offered in compliance with official hygiene guidelines. Lounge guests will enjoy a wide range of beverages, warm snacks and meals, including regional delicacies. The lounge will be open daily from 5:30 am to 8:00 pm and initially only the Schengen Business Lounge will be reopened. Access will be available to all entitled passengers and HON-circle guests can expect a separate area. There is a strict mask-wearing policy throughout the airport, onboard and in the lounge and mask removal is only permitted while seated at lounge tables.
