Austrian Airlines will reopen their HON Circle Lounge in the Schengen area of Vienna Airport on July 8, 2021, including HON Check-in. From July 1st, to offer Business Class Schengen guests more space, the Senator Lounge will also open at hourly intervals.
On Monday (June 28, 2021), Austrian Airlines announced that the HON Circle Lounge in the Schengen area of Vienna Airport (F-Gates) will reopen on July 8, 2021. HON Circle as well as Lufthansa and SWISS First Class guests will once again be able to enjoy the lounge facilities from 05:30 to 22:30 daily. The culinary offer has been redesigned in partnership with DoN and visitors can look forward to Austrian and international specialties, as well as improved service. Additionally, Austrian Airlines HON Check-in will be available from 04:30 to 23:00. To provide as much space and comfort to Business Class Lounge Schengen (F-Gates) guests, the Senator Lounge Schengen will also open at hourly intervals from July 1st, 2021, with the same food and beverage offer as those in the Business Class Lounge.
In Monday’s announcement, Austrian Airlines’ CCO, Michael Trestle, said,
“As a premium carrier, our lounges are an important part of the travel comfort we want to offer Austrian Airlines passengers. We are therefore very pleased to be able to offer our frequent flyers more services again.”
Austrian Airlines also plans to gradually open additional lounges at Vienna Airport and resume the HON Limousine service. The food and beverage service in all Austrian Airlines’ lounges have been adapted in accordance with all hygienic requirements and official guidelines. Masks are required throughout Vienna Airport, as well as in the airline’s lounges.
