Avelo Airlines Launches Inaugural Service Between Orlando and Charlottesville

Avelo Airlines has today launched their inaugural flight between Orlando, Florida and Charlottesville, Virginia. The route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with a Boeing 737NG, and one-way fares start at only $49.

On Wednesday (May 3, 2023), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) in Charlottesville, Virginia. The route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with a Boeing 737NG. Avelo is now the only airline offering direct flights between Orlando and Charlottesville, and is offering one-way fares from only $49.

Launched on April 28, 2021, Avelo Airlines was founded with the simple purpose of inspiring travel with a ‘Soul of Service’ culture, while saving customers time and money with nonstop flights and everyday low fares. Avelo operates a fleet of single-class Next Generation Boeing 737s. The carrier currently serves 43 popular destinations across the U.S. from their bases at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), Orlando International Airport (MCO), Wilmington Philadelphia Regional Airport (ILG) in Delaware, and at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina.
