Avelo Airlines has started two new routes from Daytona Beach, Florida with service to Hartford, Connecticut, and Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Regional Airport in Wilmington, Delaware.
On Friday (November 8, 2024), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of two new routes from Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), including service to Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, Connecticut, and Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Regional Airport (ILG) in Wilmington, Delaware. Nonstop service to Hartford will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays, while flights to Philadelphia/Wilmington will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Introductory one-way fares are now bookable from $61 (T&Cs apply).
In Friday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,
“Since the start of service at DAB about 18 months ago, Avelo has continued to introduce travelers in Daytona Beach to a new era of affordability, convenience and industry-leading reliability. We’re excited to grow at DAB and provide a new route to Hartford and return of service to the Philadelphia region. It is also clear the fast and easy travel-friendly experience DAB offers has played an equally significant role in inspiring over 60,000 people to fly with us.”
Also commenting on the new routes from DAB, Daytona Beach International Airport’s Director, Karen Feaster, added,
“Our community has been very supportive of the Avelo service since it launched last year. The new Hartford, Connecticut route and the resumption of Wilmington, Delaware service will provide our residents with more options to get to these metropolitan areas and make it easier for vacationers to visit our beautiful area.”
