Avelo Airlines will launch new nonstop service from Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa from November 3, 2021. The routes will be operated with a single-class 147-seat Boeing 737-700NG.
On Thursday (August 19, 2021), Avelo Airlines announced that from November 3, 2021 they will launch new nonstop service from Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Connecticut and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Fort Myer’s Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tampa International Airport (TPA). The routes will be serviced with a 147-seat Boeing 737-700NG configured in a single class. Celebrating the launch of the new routes, Avelo is offering introductory one-way fares from only $59. To qualify for the low fares, tickets must be booked by August 31, 2021 for travel by November 17, 2021.
In Thursday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

Also commenting on the new routes, Tweed-New Haven Airport’s Executive Director, Sean Scanlon, said,

The carrier operates a fleet of Boeing 737NGs and offers customers a refreshingly smooth experience, convenience, and low everyday fares. Avelo initiated service from their initial base at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) on April 28, 2021. During their first 100 days of operations, the airline operated 1,250 flights with a 99.8 percent completion factor and an 85 percent on-time arrival performance.
