Avelo Airlines has today announced the launch of new exclusive nonstop service from Melbourne Orlando International Airport to Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut and Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.
On Wednesday (June 21, 2023), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of two new exclusive nonstop routes from Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) in Florida. Today, the carrier started service from MLB to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Southern Connecticut with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Friday, June 23rd, the carrier will also launch new direct service between Melbourne and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina. The Melbourne-Raleigh route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, and both routes will be operated with a Boeing 737NG.
In celebration of the launch of the new routes, introductory one-way fares are available from $49, including taxes and fees. To qualify for the promotional fares, tickets must be booked by July 4, 2023 for travel completed by October 31, 2023.
In Wednesday’s route announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Chairman and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,
