Breeze Airways Announces New Direct Routes and Added Frequencies

Breeze Airways has announced the launch of new nonstop service to Fort Myers, Florida from Burlington, Vermont and Islip-Long Island, New York, as well as direct routes to Orlando and Tampa from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

On Tuesday (June 25, 2024), Breeze Airways announced the launch of several new routes and added frequencies.  The carrier will launch new service to Fort Myers, Florida from Burlington, Vermont and Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, Long Island, New York.  Additionally, Breeze is starting new service to Orlando and Tampa, Florida from Wilkes-Barre (Scranton) Pennsylvania.  The new routes will launch during the first week of October 2024, and fares are now bookable from $79 (T&Cs apply).  Breeze has also announced a ‘Destination Dupes’ campaign, which offers 35 percent off roundtrip fares using the coupon code ‘DUPE’.  The campaign highlights U.S. domestic getaways with international vibes across the Breeze network (newly announced routes excluded).


In Tuesday’s announcement, Breeze Airways’ President, Tom Doxey, said,


“Breeze continues to expand our fall and winter service into Florida, and now serves eight destinations within the state.  Now Guests in Long Island, Burlington, and Scranton will have more opportunities to escape to the Sunshine State while enjoying Breeze’s Seriously Nice™ service and fares.”

Founded in 2019 by serial airline entrepreneur David Neeleman, Salt Lake City-based Breeze Airways launched flight operations in May 2021.  The airline’s mission is ‘Nice people, flying nice people to nice places.’  Breeze operates a fleet of Embraer E190/195 jets and Airbus A220-300s, serving 56 cities in 29 states with over 170 nonstop seasonal and year-round routes.  The carrier currently has an additional 70 A220-300s on order, and will transition to an all A220 fleet by fall 2024.  Focused on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports, Breeze offers seamless booking, no change or cancellation fees, and up to 24-months of reusable flight credit.  Additionally, the airline offers customizable flight features, including complimentary family seating.
