Brussels Airlines’ Chief Operating Officer Tilman Reinshagen to Remain on Until 2030

The SN Airholding Board of Brussels Airlines has extended Tilman Reinshagen’s mandate to stay on as the carrier’s Chief Operating Officer for a further five years through 2030.

On Monday (September 23, 2024), Brussels Airlines announced that their Board has extended Tilman Reinshagen’s mandate to remain on as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a further five years through 2030.  Mr. Reinshagen has been part of Brussels Airlines’ Management Board since 2022, and the SN Airholding Board praises him for the reliability of the airline’s hub in Brussels during the post-pandemic aviation industry ramp-up.  Reinshagen has served as the carrier’s COO since July 1st, 2022, and is leading Brussels Airlines, along with Dorothea von Boxberg, CEO, and Nina Öwerdieck


In Monday’s announcement, Lufthansa Group Executive Board Member and Chairman of the SN Airholding Board, Dieter Vranckx, said,


Under Tilman’s leadership in the post-Covid ramp-up period, there has been noticeable growth in traffic volumes, the aircraft fleet, and the operational team.  He has contributed to stabilize the punctuality and connectivity, and together with our partners, has helped maintain Brussels as a reliable hub in Europe.  By emphasizing collaboration and incorporating bottom-up feedback, Tilman has played a key role in strengthening Brussels Airlines’ operational structure and capabilities.  I am confident that, together with his teams, he will continue to enable further operational growth.” ​


Also commenting on the five year extension of his role as Brussels Airlines’ COO, Tilman Reinshagen, added,


We were able to reach several goals as one motivated team and I look forward to keep building on and working with my colleagues.  I am grateful for the trust SN Airholding and Brussels Airlines have in me.  We will pursue establishing Brussels Airport as the most reliable Hub in Europe with an outstanding passenger experience.
