Cebu Pacific formally restarted flights from their hub at Clark International Airport on Friday, April 21, 2023, with inaugural service to Bacolod, Boracay, Davao and Bangkok. The carrier previously announced that they will serve 15 destinations from Clark.
On Friday (April 21, 2023), Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced the official restart of service from their hub at Clark International Airport (CRK), with inaugural flights to Bacolod, Boracay, Davao and Bangkok. The relaunch of service from Clark will provide an additional 10,000 seats monthly on both domestic and international routes, returning capacity to around 70 percent of pre-pandemic levels. Supporting the network expansion, CEB will take delivery of three additional aircraft which will be based in Clark. This is in addition to 10 new Airbus A320neos the airline will receive in 2023.
In Friday’s announcement, Cebu Pacific’s President and Chief Commercial Officer, Xander Lao, said,
“The launch of our Clark flights today is a fulfillment of Cebu Pacific’s mission to help make air travel more accessible and affordable for travelers in north and central Luzon. This expansion will give the traveling public more opportunities to explore the Philippines and the rest of the world.”
Also commenting on CEB’s restart of service from Clark, Luzon International Premier Airport Development’s (LIPAD) CEO, Noel Manankil, added,
“Clark International Airport and Cebu Pacific are working closely with each other to ensure a seamless experience for travelers. Our brand-new terminal is ready to welcome Cebu Pacific passengers travelling to and from the best domestic and international destinations and serve as the window to the Philippines for visitors coming from different parts of the world.”
Cebu Pacific (CEB) currently operates the widest domestic network in the Philippines with 35 domestic destinations and 25 international destinations across Asia, Australia and the Middle East. CEB operates one of the youngest fleets in the world with 76 aircraft, including 21 Airbus A320ceos, nine A320neos, seven A321ceos, 11 A321neos, four A330ceos, four A330neos, 14 ATR 72-600s, six ATR 72-500s and two dedicated ATR freighters.
