Delta Air Lines has appointed Alicia Tillman as Chief Marketing Officer, and the newest member of the Delta Leadership Committee from early June 2023. Ms. Tillman brings over two decades of experience in global marketing, sales and strategy.
On Wednesday (April 19, 2023), Delta Air Lines announced the appointment of Alicia Tillman as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and the newest member of the Delta Leadership Committee (DLC), effective early June 2023. With over two decades of experience in global marketing, sales and strategy, Tillman will lead Delta’s brand strategy, overseeing the carrier’s world-class global marketing, creative services and community engagement teams. As a member of the DLC, she will also influence the airline’s overall vision and strategy.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Delta’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Tim Mapes, said,
“In addition to being a brilliant brand leader, Alicia has proven success optimizing marketing’s role in the commercial achievements of the businesses she’s been a part of. Most important is her reputation and track record as an inspiring, innovative leader who champions her teams.”
Alicia Tillman’s marketing experience includes service as Global Chief Marketing Officer at SAP, as well as 11 years with American Express, where she led Marketing, Public Affairs and Business Services for the travel division. Most recently, Tillman was Chief Revenue Officer at Capitolis, a leading fintech company.
Ms. Tillman holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and mass communication from Lycoming College, and is also a graduate of the Chief Marketing Officer at The Kellogg School of Management. Additionally, she is a board member of Gates Industrial Corporation and RainFocus.
