Effective October 1st, Delta Air Lines introduced the state-of-the art Airbus A330-900neo on their daily nonstop route between New York-JFK and Accra, Ghana.
On Tuesday (October 8, 2024), Delta Air Lines announced the deployment of the state-of-the art Airbus A330-900neo on their daily direct service between New York-JFK and Accra, Ghana. The A330neo increases Delta’s seat capacity between Ghana and the U.S. by approximately 30 percent, or around 1,000 additional seats weekly. Guests will also enjoy an enhanced travel experience, and can chose from four distinctive cabin experiences including Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin options.
At the launch ceremony in Accra last week, Delta Air Lines’ Director of Global Communications – Commercial, Ralph Airbus, said,
“Customers will enjoy Delta’s state-of-the-art Airbus A330-900neo, offering the latest in premium travel. The accelerated deployment of this new aircraft reflects the strong demand for our product, and we’re excited to offer passengers a premium onboard experience across the Atlantic with Delta’s renowned service.”
Customers booking Delta One Suites will enjoy fully lie-flat seats, luxury bedding, and privacy doors, as well as chef-curated meals and premium beverages. Delta Premium Select guests will appreciate enhanced comfort with wider seats and more legroom, while Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin offers spacious seating, memory-foam cushions, and personalized entertainment with 1,000+ hours of content.
