Delta One Lounge Opens at Boston Logan International Airport

On Monday (December 9, 2024), Delta Air Lines announced the official opening of their third Delta One Lounge, with the latest location opened at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).  Accessible through the Delta Sky Club in Concourse E, the exclusive 6,700 square foot  space will offer guests a one-of-kind culinary experience that includes details that pay homage to Boston’s storied maritime heritage.  The bespoke menu has been developed by the highly acclaimed and decorated Chef, Ed Brown, while the service will be marked by Delta’s signature hospitality and service.

In Monday’s announcement, Delta’s VP – Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience, said,

“No two Delta One Lounges are alike – with each new space, we strive to create something truly special and distinct to the host city, while never compromising on service or quality.  We know our guests value the exclusivity and hospitality of dining at a Delta One Lounge.  This lounge is designed to deliver the elevated, VIP experience guests want -- an experience that draws inspiration from the history and culinary traditions of Boston.”

In addition to the new premium space, Delta One guests will have access to Delta’s award winning Boston Delta Sky Club, including exclusive use of the Club living area to the right of check-in, which features soundproof booths.  Guests will also enjoy access to the six well-appointed shower suites located in the Club, each equipped with amenities such as towels, bathrobes, slippers and Grown Alchemist products.  Upon check-in, Delta One guests will enjoy an elevated experience, with personalized flight assistance from Delta Elite Services ambassadors.

Like the adjacent BOS-E Sky Club, the look and feel of the Delta One Lounge pays tribute to Boston’s maritime heritage, with standout features such as a custom-designed sail ceiling.  The ceiling and bar shape pay homage to the USS Constitution or ‘Old Ironsides’, the world’s oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat, which resides in Boston Harbor.  Other details, like a foot rail at the base of the bar and the metal overhead cage, also pay tribute to the nautical. Ship-like ambience.  Bronze accents at the bar and in the custom lighting, along with shades of blue marine in the banquettes, dining chairs and custom carper, further echo the maritime theme.

The lounge’s nautical theme is complemented by a menu rich in seafood.  Guests can enjoy a three-course meal in under an hour, with elevated seafood dishes such as a warm Maine lobster roll, octopus carpaccio and cod Milanese.  Additionally, a chef’s daily local fish selection will be served a la plancha.  For customers who aren’t seafood fans, the lounge offers many other options, including prime steak tartare, crispy cauliflower, steak frites and more.  Naturally, no Boston meal would be complete without a cup of chowder, which is available both in a seafood and vegetarian option. Guests can also round out their exceptional meal with sweet treats such as a warm apple tart or Boston cream pie.
