From October 25th, Delta Air Lines will launch new Atlanta-Marrakech service. The carrier will also offer seasonal service between ATL and Accra, Ghana starting December 1st. Additionally, Delta will start new seasonal Austin-Cancun service from December 20th.

On Friday (February 28, 2025), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of several new routes for the upcoming winter 2025/26 season. Starting October 25, 2025, the carrier will start first-ever service between Atlanta and Marrakech, Morocco. Delta will also add seasonal service between Atlanta and Accra, Ghana from December 1st, 2025, complementing existing daily service from New York-JFK. Since launching service to Africa in 2006, Delta has carried over 7.5 million passengers to the continent. Currently, the airline operates year-round flights to five African destinations. Delta’s Atlanta-Marrakesh route will operate three times weekly with a Boeing 767-400ER, featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
In Friday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ SVP – Network Planning, Paul Baldoni, said,
“Delta’s new service to Marrakech and added flights to Accra strengthen our presence in Africa, offering more opportunities for customers to enjoy our award-winning service and premium onboard experience. Whether discovering Morocco or reconnecting with loved ones in Ghana, these routes enhance our network while reinforcing Atlanta’s role as the world’s largest global hub.”
In a separate press release on Friday (February 28, 2025), Delta announced the launch of new international service from Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) to Cancun (CUN), as well an increase in frequencies between Austin and Orlando to up to double daily service during the peak winter season. The new seasonal Cancun service will operate from December 20, 2025, until mid-April 2026.
Speaking on the new Cancun service, Delta Air Lines’ SVP – Network Planning, Paul Baldoni, said,
“Delta is the leading global network carrier at Austin-Bergstrom, operating nearly 60 peak day departures this winter. This new service to Cancun adds yet another popular leisure destination for our Austin customers.”
Delta’s Austin-Cancun route will be operated with an Airbus A320, equipped with First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin. Delta SkyMiles Members traveling to Cancun can also enjoy fast, free Wi-Fi onboard, along with an IFE system featuring over 1,000 hours of content.
