Delta One to Feature Amenity Kits Designed by Italian Luxury Brand Missoni

Delta Air Lines has today announced a new collaboration with Italian luxury brand Missoni, who will design the carrier’s new Delta One amenity kits, and also deliver custom elements to the new Delta One Lounge at New York-JFK.

On Thursday (June 20, 2024), Delta Air Lines announced that they will collaborate with the Italian Luxury brand Missoni, who will design the new Delta One amenity kits.  Missoni will also deliver customized elements to the new Delta One Lounge at New York-JFK.  Together, Delta and Missoni, a brand known for their creative use of colors and patterns, will further elevate the already exclusive Delta One experience.  The new Delta One amenity kits will feature Missoni’s signature zigzag pattern, both on the exterior and inside the bag, as Missoni and Delta teams have created an exclusive pattern and color palette which celebrates the window view from 30,000 feet, while paying tribute to Delta’s near century-long flying heritage. 


In Thursday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ VP – Brand Experience Design, Mauricio Parise, said,


“We’ve been intentional about creating a Delta One experience—both on the ground and in the air—that feels truly premium and elevated, and Missoni’s elegance and prestige aligns perfectly with that vision.  The Missoni-designed amenity kits, along with unique design elements that will be featured in our Delta One Lounge at JFK, will offer a distinct, high-end enhancement to our most premium spaces.”   

 

Also commenting on the Delta One collaboration, Missoni’s Creative Director, Alberto Caliri, added,

 

“The Missoni amenity kits have been meticulously designed, embodying a timeless declaration of elegance and a profound connection with the surrounding world.  Additionally, customizing the Delta One Lounge at JFK signifies an important new frontier for our lifestyle approach. We are delighted to partner with Delta on the Delta One experience.” 


The new Missoni amenity kits will be available in Delta One from mid-July on all Delta flights to and from Italy and Paris, before being rolled out worldwide in September.  Inside the amenity kits, guests will enjoy Grown Alchemist skin care products, a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, an eve mask, ear plugs, socks and a pen.  Delta One guests also enjoy the exclusive Delta One Bedding collection, which features a cozy duvet, a large sleeping pillow and slippers.  Additionally, a selection of Missoni’s home collection will be featured in the new Delta One Lounge at New York-JFK, which will open on June 26, 2024.
