Discover Airlines has today announced the introduction of a premium pre-order menu for guests traveling in Economy Class on short and medium-haul flights. Full breakfast, lunch and dinner selections will be served on porcelain tableware.

On Friday (July 12, 2024), Discover Airlines announced the launch of a new premium pre-order menu for Economy Class guests on short and medium-haul flights. Guests will enjoy a selection of breakfast, lunch or dinner choices, which will all be served on porcelain tableware. Choices include both a meat and vegetarian option, and meals are bookable up to 72 hours prior to departure on the carrier’s website, with breakfast from €16 and lunch & Dinner from €19. Discover’s AI-controlled system for optimized loading offers increased sustainability, while the pre-order option helps to reduce onboard food waste.
In Friday’s announcement, Discover Airlines’ Onboard Product Manager, Patrick Door, said,
“Treating yourself is part of the best time of the year. That's why we're delighted to offer our Economy Class guests on short and medium-haul routes the opportunity to order a premium menu in advance.”
As always, customers can still choose from five different dishes for purchase from the onboard bar during the flight, including hot and cold dishes, sandwiches and a kids’ snack. However, travelers who pre-order their meals prior to departure will receive a 10 percent discount, while helping to reduce onboard food waste.
