Dublin Aerospace, one of the world’s leading MRO providers, has expanded their line maintenance operations to Belfast City Airport. The company also operates MRO facilities in Dublin and Exeter, as well as a landing gear facility in Ashbourne, Ireland.
On Wednesday (June 15, 2022), Dublin Aerospace announced that they have expanded their line maintenance operation division to Dublin City Airport. The Dublin-based company also operates a 4-bay Base Maintenance Facility at Dublin Airport that can handle 70 aircraft annually, including Airbus A220 and A330 and Boeing 737 Family aircraft, and an APU overhaul centre that can handle 200 APU’s per year. Additionally, Dublin Aerospace operates a state-of-the-art Landing Gear facility in Ashbourne, Ireland that overhauls up to 350 B737 and A320 legs annually. Dublin Aerospace’s UK subsidiary, Exeter Aerospace, started operations in 2021 and offers Base Maintenance services across six hangar bays for ATR and De Havilland Canada DHC Dash-8 turboprops, as well as Embraer aircraft.
In Wednesday’s announcment, Dublin Aerospace’s CEO, William Flaherty, said,
“We are delighted to have extended our operations into Belfast. By utilising our Exeter Aerospace CAA approval, we now have the ability to further service the UK commuter aircraft market. Combined with our Exeter operations, our Belfast division puts us in a prime position to serve our growing customer base to the highest of standards, with around-the-clock customer service, cost-competitive support, and optimum turn-time.”
