Edelweiss has expanded their spring 2025 flight offer with additional nonstop connections to popular short-haul destinations. The carrier will also extend winter Lapland service, and will deploy an Airbus A340 for additional capacity on select routes.
On Monday (January 20, 2025), Edelweiss announced an expansion of their spring 2025 flying program with more additional nonstop connections to popular short-haul destinations, and will also extend winter seasonal service to Lapland until shortly before Easter. Additionally, the carrier will deploy an Airbus A340 on select short-haul routes, adding substantial capacity. Edelweiss will fly to Rovaniemi on March 31st, April 3rd and 7th, and Kittilä will also be served on March 31st and April 7th. The carrier will also add flights to Ivalo and March 28th, as well as on April 4th and 11th.
Additionally, Edelweiss will add new nonstop flights to popular holiday destinations in Italy, Morocco and Greece. From April 2025, previously ‘triangular’ connections will be replaced by direct flights, offering guests shorter travel times and increased comfort. Catania (Sicily) and Lamezia (Calabria) will be serviced nonstop on Mondays and Thursdays, while direct flights to Marrakesh and Agadir in Morocco will be offered on Wednesdays from April. Edelweiss will also operate additional direct flights to Kos and Rhodes and Greece from April.
To meet growing demand, the carrier will also deploy an Airbus A340 on select routes in March and April. Gran Canaria will be served with an A340 on Thursdays from April 3rd through May 1st, and additional A340 flights will be added to Faro on March 20th and 27th. More flights will also be added to Hurghada on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, while additional night flights to Larnaca in Cyprus will be operated on Thursdays in April and May. Edelweiss will also offer service to Sal, Cape Verde on April 1st, 2nd and 8th.
