Edelweiss has announced their summer 2025 flying program with seven new holiday destinations, an expansion of flights to Canada and the U.S. with the new Airbus A350, additional Atlantic island flights and more.
On Tuesday (December 17, 2024), Edelweiss announced the finalization of their summer 2025 schedule, which includes seven new destinations and increased frequencies on select routes. From April 12, 2025, the carrier will offer service to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, twice weekly, followed by Bristol in the UK from June 2nd, also twice weekly. Starting June 2, 2025, the carrier will serve Seattle twice weekly, followed by Halifax from June 3rd, also twice a week. Additionally, Edelweiss will offer one weekly flight to Terceira in the Azores from June 25th, and two weekly flights to Zadar in Croatia starting June 28th. Finally, Calvi in Corsica will be served once weekly from July 6, 2025.
For summer 2025, customers wishing to travel to Sardinia will enjoy new daily flights to both Olbia and Cagliari. Service to Portugal will also be increased with up to six weekly frequencies to Faro, and up to eight weekly flights to Madeira. Edelweiss will also expand service to the Azores, with at least two daily flights to Pristina, three weekly flights to Tivat and two weekly flights to Varna. Service to the Azores will also be bolstered with up to three weekly flights to Ponta Delgada and a new weekly flight to Terceira. The offer to Croatia will also be expanded with daily service to Split and two weekly flights to both Pula and Zadar.
UK service will also be improved with up to ten weekly flights to Edinburgh, as well as new service to Bristol. The flight schedule to Iceland, Finland and Norway, will also be more attractive with new service to Akureyri on Friday mornings, new flights to Kittilä, and better flight days to Tromsø.
As previously mentioned, long-haul service to the U.S. and Canada will also be expanded with added frequencies. Flights to Tampa Bay (Florida) will operate up to five times weekly, while Las Vegas flights will continue to operate three times per week, and from mid-May, with a New Airbus A350. Edelweiss will also offer up to four weekly flights to Denver, two weekly flights to Seattle, and daily service to Vancouver, also with the new A350 from July 2025. Service to Calgary will operate up to three times weekly, while Halifax will see two weekly flights.
Additionally, Tanzania service will be strengthened with three weekly flights to Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in Summer, and Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays in Autumn. For summer 2025, Edelweiss will serve 93 holiday destinations in 37 countries.
