On Monday (October 18, 2021), EL AL announced the opening of their new Business Class lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The lounge is located in Concourse A adjacent to gate A4 in Terminal 4 where EL AL flights depart. The lounge will be operated in partnership with the Plaza Premium Group (PPG) and offers a luxurious, and relaxing atmosphere. Guests will enjoy comfortable seating areas, Wi-Fi, device charging stations, periodicals, shower facilities, luggage storage facilities and more. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a-la-carte dining served to their table from a gourmet menu, including Strictly Kosher choices, as well as premium drinks and cocktails from the bar.

In Monday’s announcement, EL AL’s Vice President of Business Operations, Omry Cohen, said,

“We are constantly striving to elevate our passengers’ experience. From the moment they purchase a ticket, throughout their check-in and stay at the airport and, of course, during the flight itself, EL AL passengers should have an enjoyable experience. The new business lounge, much like our lounge in Ben Gurion International Airport, will provide exceptional hospitality while responding to the needs of the passengers.”

The exclusive new lounge is open to EL AL’s Business Class guests, Matmid Frequent Flyer members with a Top-Platinum, Platinum or Gold status, and El AL passengers who are a member of the King David Club.
