Emirates will be introducing their newly retrofitted Airbus A380s featuring Premium Economy on routes to Manchester and Milan. Manchester A380 service will begin on June 6th, while Milan flights with the super jumbo will start on July 1, 2025.

On Wednesday (April 9, 2025), Emirates announced that they will introduce their newly retrofitted Airbus A380s on routes to Manchester and Milan. Starting June 6th, A380 service will be available to Manchester, with Milan A380 service beginning on July 1st, 2025. From June, Emirates will offer up to 5,000 weekly Premium Economy seats to and from the UK. The upguaged service to Manchester complements the existing four daily retrofitted A380 flights on the Dubai-London Heathrow route, the Emirates A350 operating to Edinburgh, and the refreshed Boeing 777 scheduled to serve London Stansted from May.
Following the planned deployment of the airline’s A350 to Bologna later in June, Milan will become Emirates’ second Italian gateway to offer the carrier’s latest cabins and Premium Economy seats. These latest additions expands Emirates’ network of retrofitted A380 destinations to 19. By July, customers traveling from Manchester or Milan will be able to experience Emirates’ latest cabin features onboard the four-class A380 on the entire journey to key points across Australasia and Asia, including Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, Bangalore, and more.
