On Tuesday (March 25, 2025), Emirates announced the opening of the ‘Crew Zone’, a new AED 3.0 million (US $817,000) dedicated cabin crew facility at the company’s headquarters in Dubai.  The Crew Zone offers a contemporary, open plan design that is available 24/7 and offers crew members educational workshops, tech zones, a beauty and wellbeing hub, an interactive lounge area, and many other support services.  This new pioneering crew engagement area was in development for nine months, with the goal of providing team members with a welcoming area to grab a coffee and snack while finalizing inflight reports, to seek advice from colleagues, attend professional and personal workshops, have a consultation at the Beauty Hub, collect documents and devices, or just to unwind with colleagues.

Emirates new Crew Zone can accommodate up to 200 crew at a time, with seven different zones and services, and is located on the Ground Floor of the Emirates Group HQ in Dubai.  The crew engagement area is dedicated to connecting colleagues with the carrier’s newest initiatives, product launches, training and workshops.  Interactive screens and real-time calendars showcase scheduled events, which crew can book using their phone.  There are many activities to choose from, including new menu launches, new service standards, health and fitness workshops and more.

The Emirates One Device Hub offers a seamless tech experience for cabin crew, and is staffed 24/7 to assist with questions about Emirates’ One Device programme.  Dedicated to simplifying work processes, the program leverages Apple products, with cabin crew receiving an iPhone or iPad Air configured with custom Emirates apps to improve and streamline passenger service onboard.  At the One Device Hub, staff can help crew set up their device or troubleshoot issues.

The Crew Lounge area features comfortable lounge seats and tables, where team members can take a moment to recharge, enjoy a coffee, finish flights reports, or catch up with colleagues.  Emirates’ Facilities Distribution Service is a one-stop destination for dropping off and collecting documents such as visas and regulatory documents, as well as picking up new devices.  The Crew Computer Zone features new monitors, high-speed internet, and individual workstations, tailored to support the crew’s digital needs, from finishing tasks to booking personal flights and printing documents.

At the Crew Connect Services area, Emirates provides 24/7 customer-centric service and operational support to cabin crew.  Finally, the Emirates Beauty Hub, which was originally launched in 2023, is now located within the Crew Zone.  The hub is open five days per week and offers an immersive experience with an in-house team of consultants and products for sale.  Cabin crew can book personalized appointments to learn about make-up application, nutrition, fitness, skincare, haircare tips, or attend complimentary group events and masterclass’ series.
