On Wednesday (April 5, 2023), Emirates announced that they will share a sumptuous selection of treats for the Easter holiday both in lounges and onboard. From April 7-10, guests traveling in every class to select destinations in Australia, the U.S., Canada, Europe, the UK, Brazil, the Philippines, South Africa, Mauritius and Ghana will be treated to a festive selection of traditional Easter-themed fare onboard. Economy Class guests will be offered a warm hot cross bun with their meal, or a delicious Easter dessert of carrot cake with an indulgent tres leches sauce. First, Business and Premium Economy guests will enjoy chocolate cake garnished with creamy ganache and redcurrants, or a strawberry cheesecake dotted with an elegant mini Easter egg.
In the popular Airbus A380 Onboard Lounge, customers can further treat themselves to traditional Easter simnel fruitcake with marzipan. For Orthodox Easter, which will be observed between April 14th and 17th, Emirates will also offer more goodies such as the beloved Easter cake Kulich bread on flights to select markets. Additionally, kids in all classes will receive a brightly colored ‘Happy Easter’ biscuit shaped like an Easter egg. Emirates guests flying over Easter can also access a world-class entertainment library on ice, the carrier’s award winning inflight entertainment (IFE) system. Ice offers over 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment, with more than 1,900 movies and 1,500 hours of TV, as well as music, podcasts and audiobooks across 40 languages.
