Emirates Spreads the Holiday Cheer Both on the Ground and in the Air Through December 31st

Emirates’ guests traveling from Dubai on select routes to Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Brazil, South Africa and the Philippines will enjoy a taste of Christmas at the Emirates lounge and onboard.

On Tuesday (December 8, 2020), Emirates announced that they will once again end the year with extra trimmings for the holiday season as guests travel to unite with family and friends through December 31, 2020. Starting with the Emirates lounge at Dubai International Airport, customers will enjoy a range of traditional Christmas dishes including roasted turkey and a wide selection of festive sweets such as stollen cake. Once onboard, customers traveling from Dubai on select routes to Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Brazil, South Africa and the Philippines will enjoy a taste of Christmas inflight.

Economy Class customers will be treated to a festive holiday meal of roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, green peas, baby carrots and cranberry jus lié, all prepared by Emirates’ award-winning chefs. For dessert, guests will enjoy a decadent chocolate mousse with a Mandarin orange compote.


First and Business Class guests can indulge in roasted turkey breast and apricot stuffing, roast potatoes with creamy brussels sprouts and turkey bacon with cranberry jus lié. Premium guests will then be pampered with festive sweets such as Santa inspired chocolate cranberry cake or chocolate gingerbread cake. Young travelers across all classes can also pre-order a specially prepared turkey dinner over the holiday period.


For those who may have missed Christmas markets this year, Emirates is adding a special onboard touch. First and Business Class guests traveling between December 23rd and 25th can enjoy traditional mulled wine served with garnishes such as cinnamon sticks, red currants and orange slices. Premium customers can also choose rich hot chocolate customized with their favorite trimmings like marshmallows, white and dark chocolate, strawberries or raspberries. The hot beverage is also served with fresh Christmas baked items such as cranberry, pistachio & white chocolate cookies, spiced gingerbread snowflake cookies and gingerbread houses.


On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, customers in all classes will receive special edible holiday gifts from Santa’s helpers, Emirates’ cabin crew. First Class guests can savor a special holiday cupcake, while Business Class customers will receive a gingerbread Christmas tree cookie with a marzipan candy cane. Customers traveling in Economy Class will be spoiled with chocolate truffles. For those wishing to pick out some last minute Christmas gifts, EmiratesRED inflight retail (offered on select routes) offers products from famous brands like Tom Ford, Bang & Olufsen, watches from Lacoste, jewelry from Aigner and more. During the month of December, the carrier is offering a 15% discount on most of the EmiratesRED range.
