Emirates has today announced the forward deployment of their Airbus A350 to Kuwait and Bahrain starting January 8, 2025, making them the second and third destinations to be served by the carrier’s newest aircraft.
On Tuesday (December 31, 2024), Emirates announced that they will deploy their newest aircraft, the state-of-the-art Airbus A350, to Kuwait and Bahrain from January 8, 2025. Flight EK853 will depart Dubai at 01:25 and arrive in Kuwait at 02:15, while the return flight, EK854 departs Kuwait at 03:40 and touches down back in Dubai at 06:25. Emirates will also operate their Airbus A350 on two of three daily flights between Dubai and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Flight EK837 will depart Dubai at 08:20 and arrives in Bahrain at 08:40, while the return flight, EK838, departs Bahrain at 10:00 and arrives back in Dubai at 12:25. The second daily A350 flight to Bahrain, EK839, takes off from Dubai at 16:00 and lands in Bahrain at 16:20, and the return flight, EK840, leaves Bahrain at 17:45 and arrives back in Dubai at 20:00 (all times local).
Emirates' Airbus A350s are arranged in a 312-seat three class configuration, featuring 32 next-generation lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration, and 259 generously pitched Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout. Kuwait and Bahrain will become the second and third destination served by the new Emirates A350, which boasts a suite of next-generation features in every cabin, including high ceilings, wider aisles, new technology touches and faster Wi-Fi, along with the latest version of Emirates’ award-winning ice inflight entertainment (IFE) system.
Emirates has served Kuwait since 1989, and currently operates 29 weekly flights. The carrier’s A350 to Kuwait is the second aircraft type to feature the highly acclaimed Premium Economy cabin and newly configured Business Class seats, following the deployment of Emirates' refreshed Boeing 777 in October 2024. Today, Emirates operates 22 weekly flights to Bahrain, which will now be served with a mix of Boing 777s and Airbus A350s.
