Starting May 1st, 2024, Emirates will restart daily service from Dubai to Phnom Penh in Cambodia via Singapore. The route will be operated with a three class Boeing 777-300ER featuring eight First Class private suites, 42 lie-flat Business Class and 310 Economy seats.
On Thursday (February 29, 2024), Emirates announced the restart of daily service from Dubai to Phnom Penh in Cambodia via Singapore starting May 1st, 2024. The route will operate with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER. Flight EK348 will depart Dubai at 02:30 and arrive in Singapore at 14:05, before departing Singapore at 15:35, and touching down in Phnom Penh at 16:35. The return flight, EK349, takes off from Phnom Penh at 20:50 and arrives in Singapore at 23:50, before departing again at 01:40 and landing in Dubai at 04:55+1 (all times local).
In Thursday’s route announcement, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said,
“The resumption of our Phnom Penh services demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our Southeast Asian network, as we continue to create more opportunities for travellers to explore diverse and culturally rich destinations, and help businesses and exporters of all sizes establish stronger trade connections. We thank the Cambodian and Singaporean authorities for their support in establishing this new route. We look forward to re-introducing our customers to yet another vibrant destination on our network as they explore the world.”
Phnom Penh’s new link with Singapore will provide optimal onward connections to/from multiple cities in France, the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the U.S. With the new service, Emirates will now offer four daily flights to Singapore from May 1st. Additionally, the route will provide Emirates SkyCargo 777-300ER belly-hold capacity of over 300 tons per week to/from Phnom Penh, facilitating the transport of exports such as textiles, pharmaceuticals and other valuable commodities.
