Emirates has today announced the official opening their new travel store in Hong Kong, the carrier’s first in East Asia. This is part of Emirates planned rollout of a retail blueprint in the wider Far East region and across their global network.
On Wednesday (July 17, 2024), Emirates celebrated the opening of their new travel store in Hong Kong, the carrier’s first in East Asia. The new Hong Kong store was officially inaugurated by Emirates SVP – Commercial Operations, Orhan Abbas, in the presence of Shaikh Saoud Al Mualla, UAE Consul General, and Sultan Alriyami, Emirates Area Manager for Hong Kong, and other dignitaries.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Emirates’ SVP – Commercial operations, Orhan Abbas, said,

The city has always been strategically important for us and by launching our first travel store in Central Hong Kong, we aim to offer our valued customers an elevated travel retail experience, and better deliver Emirates’ hospitality at every step of the customer journey. In line with our ‘Fly Better’ promise, Emirates travel store combines advanced technology with personalised service provided by our well-versed travel consultants to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for our customers.”

The opening of the new Hong Kong travel store is part of Emirates commitment to providing a reimagined travel experience by bringing world-class products, service, and signature hospitality even closer to guests. Located in Hong Kong’s Nexxus Building, the latest concept store offers a range of premium services, from flight reservations to ticketing and personalized guest assistance. The 1,500 square-foot store offers a lounge-like environment, and features light and modern furniture so customers can relax as they book their tailored travel itineraries at four dedicated guest service counters, all staffed by knowledgeable travel consultants.
Emirates new Hong Kong travel store also features large interactive screens to encourage customers to capture amusing selfies against iconic Emirates backgrounds. Additionally, smart technology powered self-service screens reduce wait times and facilitate faster service, while LED screens showcase the airline’s latest products and promotions. The store also features a limited-time Premium Economy Class seats display, as well as a curated selection of official Emirates merchandise and travel accessories.
Currently, Emirates operates 21 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Dubai, and recently re-opened their refreshed lounge at Hong Kong International Airport. Additionally, the carrier’s signature complimentary Chauffeur-drive service has been extended to Include Business Class guests in Hong Kong. Visitors to the new Hong Kong store who sign up for the Emirates Skyward loyalty program at the self-service kiosk between now and July 31, 2024 will also receive 2,000 bonus Skywards miles.
