Envoy Air has today announced the addition of 19 more Embraer E-Jets to their fleet, including 11 E170s and eight E175s. With the added aircraft, Envoy’s fleet commitment expands to 169 aircraft, with 43 E170s and 126 E175s
On Wednesday (January 3, 2024), Envoy Air announced the addition of 19 more large Embraer regional jets to their fleet, including 11 E170s and eight E175s, with deliveries starting later this year. This is in addition to the carrier’s 2023 fleet expansion which included six E175s announced in March, five E170s and seven E175s in June, and four more E175s announced in October. With today’s announcement, Envoy Air expands their fleet commitment to 169 aircraft, including 126 E175s and 43 E170s.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Envoy Air’s President and CEO, Pedro Fábregas, said,

Irving, Texas-based Envoy Air is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group (NASDAQ: AAL), and operates over 800 daily flights to more than 160 destinations. The carrier provides regional flight service to American Airlines under the American Eagle brand, and also provides ground handling services for many American mainline flights. Founded in 1998 as American Eagle Airlines, the company changed its name to Envoy Air on April 14, 2014 to distinguish itself from the American Eagle brand, under which several carriers operate regional flights for American Airlines. American Airlines Group is the holding company for American Airlines, US Airways and Envoy Air.
