Ethiopian Airlines to Launch New Service Between Addis Ababa and Hanoi, Vietnam

Starting July 10, 2025, Ethiopian Airlines will launch new four times weekly service between Addis Ababa and Hanoi in Vietnam via Dhaka, Bangladesh.

On Tuesday (March 18, 2025), Ethiopian Airlines announced the launch of new service between Addis Ababa (ADD) and Hanoi, Vietnam (HAN) starting July 10, 2025.  The route will operate four times per week via Dhaka, Bangladesh (DAC).  The new route further enhances Ethiopian Airlines’ global connectivity, providing convenient travel options for customers traveling between Africa and Southeast Asia. 


In Tuesday’s announcement, Ethiopian Airlines Group’s CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, said,


“We are pleased to expand our presence in Southeast Asia and enhance air connectivity for our customers in the region.  This new route will create opportunities for stronger ties and collaborations between Vietnam and our extensive global network.  We look forward to bringing our renowned service to Vietnam and further growing our presence in this dynamic market.”
