Ethiopian Airlines Unveils New Exclusive Silver Lounge in Addis Ababa

Ethiopian Airlines has inaugurated their new exclusive Silver Lounge at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, which is dedicated to ShebaMiles Silver members.

On Friday (August 16, 2024), Ethiopian Airlines announced the grand opening of their new exclusive Silver Lounge at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.  The new lounge is dedicated exclusively to ShebaMiles Silver members, and offers a serene and engaging environment where guests can relax while enjoying a range of amenities.  Spanning 810 square-meters, the Silver Lounge can accommodate up to 200 guests during peak hours.  Amenities include an array of buffets, comfortable seating areas, a designated smoking room, a kids’ corner and more.

In Friday’s announcement, Ethiopian Airlines Group’s CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, said,


 “We are pleased to open the doors to this magnificent lounge, which symbolizes our continuous efforts to elevate the standards of hospitality in the skies and on the ground.  The Silver Lounge is more than just a space; it is an embodiment of our vision to further enhance the travel experience of our guests and solidify Addis Ababa as a leading aviation hub in Africa.”


Ethiopian Airlines operates multiple lounges which cater to a variety of guests transiting Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, including Cloud Nine, ShebaMiles Platinum, Star Alliance Gold, and now ShebaMiles Silver members.
