Finnair has taken delivery of their 18th Airbus A350-900, which was financed by export credit support in excess of €100 million, by the export credit agencies of Germany, France and the UK.
On Tuesday (December 17, 2024), Finnair announced the delivery of their 18th widebody Airbus A350-900 XWB. To finance the new aircraft, Finnair was granted export credit support in excess of €100 million from the export credit agencies of Germany, France and the UK. Credit support is available to qualified purchasers of Airbus aircraft. The carrier selected Citibank Europe plc to arrange the financing. Finnair has ordered a total of 19 new A350-900 XWB aircraft, of 1hich 18 have already been delivered.
