On Monday (December 16, 2024), Flair Airlines celebrated the launch of their inaugural flight between Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Orlando International Airport (MCO).  The nonstop seasonal route will now operate daily through April 22nd, 2025, complementing existing thrice weekly service between Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF) and Orlando.  Additional routes to Orlando from both London Ontario (YXU) and Saint John (YSJ) will commence on December 20th and 22nd, respectively.  The London-Orlando route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, while the St. John-Orlando route will operate once weekly on Sundays.

In Monday’s announcement, Flair Airlines’ VP – Network Planning and Revenue Management, Eric Tanner, said,

“For Canadians dreaming of an escape to the sun, or for Floridians hoping to explore Canada’s winter magic, Flair provides unbeatable value.  We’re excited to offer these direct, reliable routes at a time when travel between Orlando and Canada is most meaningful.”

Also commenting on the new and upcoming Orlando routes, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s CEO, Kevin J, Thibault, said,

“Flair Airlines’ expanded routes will be a fantastic addition to our services at Orlando International Airport.  With direct flights from both major cities and regional hubs, Canadians and Floridians now have easier, affordable access to explore and experience new adventures.”

Visit Orlando’s President and CEO, Casandra Matej, added,

“The new direct flights from Toronto Pearson, London and Saint John, which join the recent addition of Kitchener-Waterloo, are making it even easier for Canadians to travel to the theme park capital of the world.  Low-cost air carriers like Flair are especially appealing for those seeking affordable travel options to escape the chilly winter temperatures and enjoy the Orlando sunshine.”
