On Saturday (June 10, 2023), Frontier Airlines announced the start of new nonstop service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten (SXM). The route will operate once weekly on Saturdays. With the new St. Maarten service, Frontier now serves a total of 57 nonstop destinations from Orlando. Celebrating the new service, the carrier is offering one-way fares from only $99. To qualify for the promotional fares, tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on June 16, 2023, for travel through July 28, 2023 on Saturdays (excluding July 1st). A seven day advance purchase is required, but a roundtrip purchase is not required.

In Saturday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,

“Orlando is one of Frontier’s largest bases, and we’re thrilled to offer even more service from Central Florida, particularly to this exciting Caribbean destination. Our commitment to Orlando means even more travel options for Floridians. St. Maarten is known for its stunning beaches and tropical island vibe. Getting there from Orlando is now even more convenient and affordable thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right.’”

Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) is committed to “Low Fares Done Right.” The Denver-based carrier operates 125 Airbus A320 Family aircraft and has the largest Airbus A320neo fleet in the U.S., delivering the highest level of fuel-efficiency and noise footprint reduction compared to previous generation models. Frontier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget, including base fares, a-la-carte options and one low-priced bundle called the WORKS.

Frontier’s commitment to families includes their ‘Discount Den’ travel club which allows children 14 years and younger to fly free on qualifying flights. The airline’s family friendly FRONTIER Miles loyalty program allows guests to earn one mile for every mile flown and permits the family pooling of miles, making it easier to earn rewards. Frontier currently has over 200 new Airbus aircraft on order, which will help the airline continue to deliver on their mission of providing affordable travel across America.
