Frontier Airlines has launched new nonstop service from Atlanta to Guatemala City, Santo Domingo, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Ontario, California.
On Thursday (May 11, 2023), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of five new routes from Atlanta (ATL), including nonstop service to Santo Domingo (SDQ) in the Dominican Republic, San Diego (SAN) Ontario, California (ONT), Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA), and Salt lake City (SLC). With the new routes, Frontier now offers service from Atlanta to 38 destinations. Celebrating the Atlanta expansion, the carrier is offering one-wat fares from $59. To qualify for the promotional fares, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on May 17, 2023 for travel through June 28, 2023. A three day advance purchased is required, but a roundtrip booking is not.
In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,
“We’re thrilled to be in Atlanta to celebrate this exciting expansion of service. Atlanta is one of our fastest growing markets and serves as a large international gateway for Frontier. Connecting Atlanta to Guatemala City and Santo Domingo, while continuing to build out our domestic options, is all part of a major growth push at ATL that represents our strong commitment to Atlanta. We’re pleased our growth at ATL means even more affordable and convenient travel options for those across the Atlanta metro thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right.’”
