Frontier Airlines Launches Four New Nonstop Routes From Orlando International Airport

The Denver based LCC has started four new nonstop routes from Orlando today with service to Cancun, Miami, Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, Flights between Orlando and St. Thomas will start on February 19, 2021.

Today (February 11, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the start of four new nonstop routes from Orlando International Airport (MCO), including service to Cancun, Miami, Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Wilmington, Delaware. The carrier will also launch new service between Orlando and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands starting February 19, 2021. With the new routes, Frontier will offer 60 nonstop routes from Orlando for spring 2021, more than any other airline. Celebrating the new service, Frontier is offering introductory fares from only $19.


In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,


“We’re thrilled to continue Frontier’s incredible momentum in Orlando with five new routes beginning in February. Frontier remains the airline with the most nonstop routes from Orlando International Airport and this new service reinforces our commitment to providing affordable and convenient air travel to area residents.”


Frontier Airlines is committed to “Low Fares Done Right.” The Denver-based carrier operates over 100 Airbus A320 Family aircraft and has the largest Airbus A320neo fleet in the U.S., delivering the highest level of fuel-efficiency and noise footprint reduction compared to previous generation models. Frontier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget, including base fares, a-la-carte options and one low-priced bundle called the WORKS.

Frontier’s commitment to families includes their ‘Discount Den’ travel club which allows children 14 years and younger to fly free on qualifying flights. The airline’s family friendly FRONTIER Miles loyalty program allows guests to earn one mile for every mile flown and permits the family pooling of miles, making it easier to earn rewards. Frontier currently has 150 new Airbus aircraft on order, which will continue to deliver on their mission of providing affordable travel across America.
