Frontier Airlines has today announced four new direct routes, including service between Cleveland and Fort Lauderdale and St. Louis and Tampa, as well as flights from Phoenix to Detroit and Cincinnati.
On Wednesday (September 7, 2022), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of four new routes. Starting November 5, 2022, the carrier will offer four weekly flights between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) from November 5, 2022 with one-way fares from $39. Frontier will also launch four weekly flights from St. Louis (STL) to Tampa (TPA) starting November 16th, with one-way fares from $29. Additionally, the airline will introduce new daily service from Phoenix (PHX) to Detroit (DTW), as well as four weekly flights to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) from November 5, 2022, with fares from $88 and $98 respectively.
Speaking on the new service between Cleveland and Fort Lauderdale in Wednesday’s
announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,
“We’re excited to expand our service in Cleveland with this new route to South Florida. The winter season is one of the most popular times for consumers in the Midwest to vacation in Florida, and this new service will provide an affordable, convenient flight option thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right.’”
Commenting on the new St. Louis-Tampa route, Frontier’s Mr. Shurz, added,
“We’re thrilled to offer this nonstop service from St. Louis to one of the most popular destinations in Florida. This new service offers an affordable and convenient flight option to enjoy a wintertime escape in the Sunshine State.”
Further speaking on Frontiers network expansion from Phoenix, Daniel Shurz added,
“We’re thrilled to grow yet again in Phoenix following the recent addition of 10 new Frontier routes last month. We now offer Phoenix-area consumers a wide selection of service from PHX to some of the most popular destinations in America. The future of our partnership with Phoenix Sky Harbor couldn’t be stronger as we prepare to open our new crew base at PHX in November.”
